How ConnectedCulture was born
ConnectedCulture was founded by myself, Henna Chumber, a passionate advocate for culturally sensitive mental health care. With a BSc, MSc, and ongoing PhD in Psychology, I combine academic expertise with years of experience in a mental health hospital. Recognising a lack of cultural sensitivity in care, I created ConnectedCulture to bridge this gap. The platform raises awareness of intergenerational trauma, identity-related stress, and systemic issues, advocating for inclusive, culturally competent therapy that respects diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Get to Know Us
At ConnectedCulture, we believe that mental health care should honour cultural identities and offer a space where people feel truly seen and understood. Our platform was created to provide clients with one-on-one therapy sessions that are professional, confidential, and sensitive to each client's unique cultural experiences. We aim to build awareness of the challenges many people of colour and marginalised communities face, resulting in a more inclusive approach to mental health that brings these important issues to light.
