Catalyst Arts

This £50 million programme is designed to enable arts organisations to diversify their income streams, attract significantly more funding by increasing their fundraising potential, and help them to develop and explore innovative new approaches to securing private giving.

Touring Programme

This £45 million programme is designed to encourage collaboration between organisations so more people across England experience and are inspired by the arts. Of relevance to participatory arts are their aims to create more high quality work to reach people and places with the least engagement and to create a wide range of high quality work on tour, including in particular more work by and for people from diverse backgrounds.

Audience Focus

The programme budget is £7.5m from 1 April 2012 to 31 March 2015. 10 to 15 awards of £1000,000+ will be made over the next three years. The fund is open for applications from 4 November 2011 to 9 January 2012. Of particular interest for participatory arts is their second strand which supports collaborative marketing and audience development activity to increase family and cross-generation attendance and participation in the arts.
